What is Amplar Health Online Doctor?
Amplar Health Online Doctor is available 24/7 for eligible Medibank members* and offers convenient video or phone consultations with a doctor, without the need to visit a clinic in-person. Through this service, patients can access medical advice, obtain prescriptions, and receive medical certificates from the comfort of their own space.
Eligible Medibank members can find out more information via the My Medibank app.
How online doctor can help
Medical advice
If you’re feeling unwell or have questions about your health, a doctor can discuss your symptoms and offer medical advice. Some health concerns may be outside the scope of this service, but you’ll always be pointed in the right direction.
Medical certificates
A doctor may provide a medical certificate if it’s clinically suitable.
Prescriptions
A doctor may write prescriptions when it’s clinically suitable.
